Purpose: To support new tattoo artists and new tattoo artists from all backgrounds and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and LGBTQIA+ communities who are in the early stages of their careers and need financial assistance to attend educational events and workshops.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be a resident of the United States.
Must have less than two years of professional tattooing experience not including apprenticeship.
Must demonstrate a commitment to continuing education and professional development.
Must demonstrate financial need.
Scholarship for BIPOC/LGBTQIA+ Artists
Must identify as a member of the BIPOC or LGBTQIA+ communities.
Selection Process:
Applications were reviewed by a panel of industry professionals.Selection is based on portfolio quality, personal statement, letter of recommendation, and financial need.
