#1 Scholarship for BIPOC/LGBTQIA+ Artists

#2 Advanced Professional Scholarship for all Newbies currently working in the industry

Purpose: To support new tattoo artists and new tattoo artists from all backgrounds and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and LGBTQIA+ communities who are in the early stages of their careers and need financial assistance to attend educational events and workshops.

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Must be a resident of the United States.

  • Must have less than two years of professional tattooing experience not including apprenticeship.

  • Must demonstrate a commitment to continuing education and professional development.

  • Must demonstrate financial need.

  • Must identify as a member of the BIPOC or LGBTQIA+ communities.

Selection Process:

Applications were reviewed by a panel of industry professionals.Selection is based on portfolio quality, personal statement, letter of recommendation, and financial need.

Apply For the Scholarships - 4 FULL RIDE Scholarships that include:

  • Artist Weekend Pass to the Paradise Tattoo Gathering October 24-278th in Western MAss.

  • Travel (up to $500)

  • Transport to/from the airport

  • Lodging (Up to $800)

  • Guided tour of Paradise with Derek and Christy!
